I’ve been waiting for this moment for two years! Back in 2022, I was scheduled for a solo show at the Horace Williams House, and now in 2024, it’s finally happening! My solo show, «Nightingales Will Whistle in February», is up at this amazing venue.
The Horace Williams House, one of the oldest buildings in Chapel Hill, carries a rich history within its walls. I’m grateful for the chance to exhibit in a place that supports contemporary artists. I love how the classic interior of the house pairs with modern art.
It’s a true honor to have my solo show here, especially knowing that many of my favorite local artists have exhibited here before me.
This show focuses on my immigration experience and features new soft sculptures, ceramics, embroideries, and drawings.
The exhibition looks fantastic, and I hope you can all come to the artist reception on September 15th from 2 to 4 pm!
